Two stops on the way, back the same evening
Asilah Day Trip from Tangier
The whitewashed Atlantic town, with the two things worth stopping for on the way there: the Cap Spartel lighthouse where the oceans meet, and the Caves of Hercules. €95 for the car, not per person. About 8 and a half hours door to door, starting any hour you like between 8 and 11 in the morning. The driver waits at every stop and you are back at your Tangier hotel the same evening.
Book on WhatsApp or by email. Pay the driver at the end of the day.

Pricing
Fixed prices, per vehicle
Tangier → Cap Spartel → Asilah → Tangier. One price covers the car and the whole day: the driving, the driver waiting at every stop, and the run back to Tangier in the evening. Three cars, three fixed fares, nothing to add to any of them. The beach below the caves is already in all three. Party size never changes the price, so six people in the Economy car pay the €95 a couple pays. The car in each photo is the one we run most often in its class. If it is out on your date, another of the same class comes instead, with the seats you picked and never fewer.
Included in every fare
- Driver and car, the whole dayAbout 8 and a half hours door to door, the beach stop included
- All three stops, with the driver waitingCap Spartel, the Caves of Hercules, and four hours in Asilah
- The beach below the cavesAbout 30 minutes, and skipping it does not change the fare
- Pickup at your hotel or Tangier airport (TNG)The same fare either way
You pay these yourself
- Caves of Hercules80 MAD40 MAD for ages 7 to 13, free under 7. Paid at the door.
- Cap Spartel lighthouse50 MADOnly to climb it. The grounds, the parking and the view from below are free, and for most people that is the whole visit.
- Lunch in Asilahyour bill
- Camel ride at the beachoptionalThe men with the camels are their own business. Agree the price with them directly, or walk straight past.
The "a head" figure under each price is that same fixed fare split across a full car, so you can hold it against a per-person rate. Five or six of you? Send us your date: the Economy class guarantees 4 seats and only some of the cars in it seat 6, so we confirm a six-seater rather than promise one.

How it works
Three messages and you're sorted
- 1
Send your hotel and the date
Your Tangier hotel or your flight number if we are collecting you at TNG, the date, the hour you want to start, and how many of you there are. Ask at least three days ahead so we can check availability with the local operator. We reply with the vehicle and the fixed fare, usually within a few hours.
- 2
Say whether you want the beach stop
All three stops are in the price, the beach included. It is five minutes on from the caves, where the camel handlers work the sand. What it costs is time rather than money: about half an hour. Decide when you book or decide on the day, and skip it altogether if you would rather have the afternoon in Asilah. The driver will ask you when you come out of the caves either way, and the fare is the same whatever you answer.
- 3
Travel, then pay the driver
He collects you in the morning, stays with you all day, and drops you back at the same door in the evening. You pay cash at the end, in euros or dirhams. Nothing online and nothing up front.
Why book this trip
The two best stops out of Tangier are on the way to Asilah
Most people do Cap Spartel and the Caves of Hercules as a short afternoon out of Tangier, then do Asilah as a separate day, and pay for the same stretch of road twice. They are on the same coast heading the same direction. One car for the day does all three and still has you home for dinner.
- Cap Spartel and the Caves of Hercules are 14 km west of Tangier and reachable only by car, which is exactly what you have for the day.
- The driver waits at every stop. Nobody is counting heads back onto a coach and there is no timetable but yours.
- One price for the whole car. Six people pay the same €95 as one, with no per-passenger surcharge and nothing to add on.
- Pickup at Tangier airport costs no more than pickup in the city, so this works as your arrival day if you land in the morning.
- Asilah is small enough to see properly in an afternoon. The ramparts, the medina and the murals are all inside a few hundred metres.
- You set the departure time, any hour from 8 to 11 in the morning. It is your car and your party alone, so there is no coach timetable to catch.
