About 6 hours door to door for roughly 580 km, almost all of it on motorway: south along the Atlantic past Asilah and Rabat, around Casablanca, then inland to Marrakech. That includes a break or two on the way. Traffic around Rabat and Casablanca can add time, so if you have a flight out of Marrakech the same day, tell us its time and we will suggest when to leave.

Yes. Tanger Med is about 40 km east of Tangier, so a pickup at the port costs €30 more per car: €419 in the SUV or €475 in the van. Ferry arrival times move, so send us your crossing and the expected arrival time, and keep us posted on WhatsApp on the day. If your ferry lands at Tanger Ville, the port in the city, there is no supplement.

Yes, with one change. The fastest way is the Al Boraq high-speed train from Tanger Ville to Casa Voyageurs, then a normal train on to Marrakech after a 26-minute connection: 5 h 37 min station to station. These leave about every hour from 6am to 7pm, and the same trains run the other way with the change at Casa Voyageurs. On ONCF's site in October 2026, a second-class seat cost from 138 MAD booked one to two months ahead and around 340 MAD within two weeks of travel, and first class started at about 218 MAD well ahead. Slower trains changing at Kenitra or Sidi Kacem are often a little cheaper but take 9 to 10 hours. Per seat the train is far cheaper than a car, especially for solo travellers and couples. The car earns its price on what the train does not do: collecting you at TNG or Tanger Med, sparing you the change with your bags, and taking you to your riad or the RAK terminal door rather than Marrakech station.

A short break for coffee or the toilet is part of the drive and costs nothing. A proper stop to visit Rabat, Casablanca or Asilah is a different thing, because the driver waits for you and the day gets longer, so it is priced on top of the fare. Yes, in a Spacious Van at the same €445, for up to 7 passengers with luggage. We arrange it from your riad in Marrakech or from Menara airport (RAK) to your hotel in Tangier, Tangier airport (TNG) or Tanger Med port for the ferry, all at the same fare, door to door. This direction is van only, including for couples. Send your date and number of passengers, and we confirm the date with the driver before you book. You pay on arrival in Tangier.

No. This is a private transfer: one car and one driver taking you from Tangier to Marrakech, at a fixed fare. Once you are in Marrakech, we can also arrange day trips from the city with a private driver. Each one is priced and booked on its own, so send us your dates and what you would like to see. We do not sell packages with hotels included. If you want time in a city on the way, ask us about a stop and we will price it on top of the fare.
