Tangier to Casablanca

About 3.5 hours for roughly 340 km, almost all of it on the A1 motorway down the Atlantic coast past Asilah, Kenitra and Rabat. Allow around half an hour more if you are going to Mohammed V airport rather than central Casablanca, and a little more for a coffee stop. Traffic coming into Casablanca can add time at rush hour, so tell us your flight time and we will suggest when to leave.

Yes. Tanger Med is about 40 km east of Tangier, so a pickup at the port costs €30 more per car: €275 in the SUV or €329 in the van. Ferry arrival times move, so send us your crossing and the expected arrival time, and keep us posted on WhatsApp on the day. If your ferry lands at Tanger Ville, the port in the city, there is no supplement.

Yes. The Al Boraq high-speed train runs direct from Tanger Ville station to Casa Voyageurs in a little over two hours, and per seat it is usually far cheaper than a car, especially for solo travellers and couples. ONCF's YALLA AL BORAQ fare on this line is 89 MAD in second class, bought at least seven days ahead and only while the promotional seats last; other fares vary by date and class. The car earns its price on what the train does not do: collecting you at TNG or Tanger Med, carrying several suitcases without a change of station, and reaching CMN, which by rail means a second train from Casa Voyageurs.

A short break for coffee or the toilet is part of the drive and costs nothing. A proper stop to visit Asilah or Rabat is a different thing, because the driver waits for you, so it is priced on top of the fare. Tell us which stop you want and for how long when you book, and we will send the price and check that it still fits your flight if you have one.

Sometimes, but not as a fixed-price route. The operators we work with are based in the north, so a Casablanca pickup only works when a car is already down there, usually after a southbound run.
